Late in 2000, the Finnish Defence Forces (FDFs)selected the CV9030 to meet its TA2000 operational requirement andordered an initial of 57 vehicles under the designation CV9030FIN

The first CV9030FIN was handed over to Finland in April 2002and all vehicles were delivered by 2005. For this programme the primecontractor is Patria Hägglunds, which is jointly owned by Patria ofFinland, and BAE Systems Hägglunds of Sweden.

The latter company send the chassis to Finland where the turretis built and installed on the vehicle. BAE Systems Hägglunds isresponsible for systems integration and the total value of the contractis EUR210 million.

The CV9030FIN was specifically developed to meet theoperational requirements of the FDF and main armament comprises thelatest United States ATK Gun Systems Company 30/40 mm MK 44 Bushmastercannon.

The Finnish version is chambered for 30 × 173 mm ammunition butcan be upgraded to 40 mm Supershot. It carries 160 rounds of ready use30 mm ammunition with a 7.62 mm PKT machine gun being mounted coaxial.

It also features a CAN network, BITE, information system, newman-machine interface, improved suspension, Scania DI 16 460 kW dieselengine and barrel camera with image intensifier added.

The advanced information system includes flat screens at crewstations, video network and preparation for the installation of acommand and control system at a future date.

In mid-2004 an additional order was placed for a further 45 vehicles for delivery between 2006 and 2007.

CV9030FIN 보병전투차는 FDF의 ROC에 부합한 미군의 30/40 mm MK 44 Bushmaster 기관포로 장착하였습니다..

핀란드제의 30 × 173mm 기관포가 장착 돼었지만 40mm Supershot 으로 업그레이드가 가능합니다. 기본 장착돼는 동축 기관포 로로는 7.62 mm PKT기관총포를 탑재하며 30mm 탄약은 약160 발을 탑재 가능합니다.

또한 신형 네트워크 시스템에 의한 전장 관리시스템을 채택하고 있으며, 신형의 차량 관리 시슨템과 향상된 서스펜션, Scania사의 DI 16 460 kW급 diesel engine 이 장착되고 총구에는 광증폭기가 추가 설치 되었습니다.

CV-9030 FIN 은 첨단 네트워크 전장 관리 시스템을 탑재 하고 있으며 비디오 네트워크 및 스크린에 의한 전투 명령 하달이 가능합니다.

2004 년 중반 추가 주문되어 2006 년과 2007 년 사이에 45량이 추가 배치되었습니다.
